Cabo Pulmo

Cabo Pulmo is an incredible tour to the only natural living reef in Mexico and is one of our most popular tours!

Located approximately 60 miles north of Cabo San Lucas, Cabo Pulmo has been aptly described as "the aquarium of the world" by conservationist & explorer Jacques Cousteau. American author John Steinbeck describes Cabo Pulmo as "teeming with fauna" and details the "electric colors" of the reef in his book "The Log from the Sea of Cortez".

A special place fitting for anyone's bucket list! See the tour.

Arch & Lover's Beach, The 3 Bay

For half-day kayaking and snorkeling tours, there are the popular Arch & Lover's Beach and The 3 Bay tours. Glide your way past the famous El Arco (The Arch) in Cabo San Lucas and follow it up with a snorkel out to Neptune's Finger.

If you prefer a more reclusive (yet close & convenient) kayaking & snorkeling adventure, The 3 Bay tour is a perfect match and our best snorkel trip due to the natural reef environment!

Kayaking & Snorkeling Tours in Los Cabos

The Arch & Lover's Beach

Half day Kayaking & Snorkeling
Approximately 3 -3 1/2 hours
$90 USD per person including tax

The Arch takes place in the bay of Cabo San Lucas. After a short instructional lesson given on the beach, we kayak out to the Arch, past the sea lion colony and around Land's End into the Pacific. We land at Lover's Beach, where you can snorkel out to Neptune's Finger or check out the beach and it's massive granite rock formations. This is a great way to explore where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean - Land's End!

The 3 Bay

Half day Kayaking & Snorkeling
Approximately 3 -3 1/2 hours
$90 USD per person including tax

The 3 Bay takes place along the tourist corridor between Cabo San Lucas & San Jose del Cabo on the Sea of Cortez. After a short instructional lesson, we start kayaking from the Twin Dolphin beach into the beautiful horseshoe-shaped bay of Santa Maria where we snorkel amongst colorful sea life. Then onto the white sand of Chileno to relax on the beach or venture back into the clear blue waters for another snorkel. Both bays have reef environments, which makes this our best local snorkel trip!

Cabo Pulmo

Full Day Kayaking & Snorkeling
Duration: Approximately 8 - 9 hours
$190 USD per person including tax

It's not quite a 2 hour drive to the small community of Cabo Pulmo, designated a national marine park. We arrive at Los Arbolitos beach and start our kayak in the beautiful blue waters of Cabo Pulmo bay. Along the way we stop at La Serenita beach for snorkel time. It's a protected area so the fish and marine life tend to be in abundance! Cabo Pulmo has the largest variety of species of underwater life in the entire Los Cabos area. We finish up with an awesome lunch at a local restaurant before we journey back to your hotel.

We provide transportation to and from your accommodations, experienced guides, sit-on-top tandem kayak & equipment, snorkeling gear, beverages and light snacks. Full day includes lunch and park user fees, also.

Kayaking in the Estuary

Kayaking in the San Jose del Cabo Estuary at Sunset
Duration: Approximately 3 - 4 hours
$55 USD per person including tax

AUGUST 2023 UPDATE: TOUR IS CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE

This is an exceptional kayaking tour through the San Jose del Cabo estuary and bird sanctuary. Five minutes from downtown San Jose is a peaceful area filled with 200 species of exotic birds such as egrets, herons and brown pelicans, and many native and migratory birds. Sunset is the most scenic and picturesque time to visit. Includes kayaks, all gear, drinks, and park fees.

About the estuary: The estuary is the largest body of fresh water in southern Baja, and is protected by Mexican law as a natural preserve and sanctuary for hundreds of species of tropical and migratory birds, and for many species of marine life, amphibians, reptiles, and mammals. The estuary at San Jose del Cabo is an ever changing environment: water levels rise and fall with the season and the tide and salinity levels also change. The estuary is ringed by tall Tlaco palms, a species that is common to this and a few other wetlands of southern Baja and over millions of years has adapted to withstanding the occasional flood conditions.
